This research-based assignment focuses on the latest available information about creating, organizing, and managing a total rewards program. Envision a service-based profit organization that employs up to 20,000 employees of which 2,000 are management-level individuals. The company employs diverse individuals who are governed by multiple regulatory environments.
Write an eight to ten-page paper in which you:
Create a brief overview of the company requirements for a total rewards system. Hint: A total rewards program is not the same as a total rewards system. See figure 1.3 in the textbook to see a TR System.
Formulate a total rewards strategy to encompass the fundamentals of compensation and the regulatory environments. Note: Only compensation fundementals and regulatory environment should be covered.
Explain the advantages of the total rewards strategy you are proposing and how it might satisfy the employees’ needs.
Determine the key communication components of the total rewards system. Remember, a TR system is different from a TR program. Consider reviewing chapter 5 of the textbook.
Indicate your strategy for devising a competitive pay structure. Note: This section is not about defining what pay structures are but the strategy you will use to develop the pay structures.
Use at least five quality academic resources in this assignment. Note: You should go to the course resources list to view recommended sources.
