by doing a close reading to the two poems in songs of innocence by william Blake and using 2-3 secondary sources, I need to prove my thesis statement in that I wrote in the introduction:
Blake wrote about religion in many of his works, in fact he was
motivated by religion and it was a main theme in his works. One of the main
things about religion is that it is a known to be a peaceful act where salvation
to everything is found through God. William Blake wrote about religion and in Songs
of Innocence he created this special relationship between the songs’ concept which
is innocence and the religion. I this paper I will discuss the connection that
Blake draws between religion and innocence that appears in both of the poems “The
Divine Image”
and “On Anothers Sorrow” mentioning
the religious indications in each poem.
I aploaded a few possible articles for the use of secondary sources(The Cambridge companion has a chapter that is called Blake and religion) I believe it can be a good source
for other sources you can find online(in the document there has some websites names for articles about the topic
